Ty Segall announces new album ‘Freedom’s Goblin’

Recently, Ty Segall has shared ‘Alta’, which saw him backed by the Freedom Band and that was then quickly followed by ‘Meaning’, ‘My Lady’s On Fire’ and, most recently, ‘The Main Pretender’.

Now he’s gearing up to release a brand new LP! As reported by Pitchfork, the new album was announced by Conan O’Brien not long before he and the Freedom Band performed on the show itself. It’s called ‘Freedom’s Goblin’ and it’ll be out on 26th January via Drag City.

Ty then went on to perform ‘Fanny Dog’, a new track from the LP. He and the Freedom Band were all dressed in white when playing the tune, which contains more of the scuzzy rock and brass elements that characterised ‘The Main Pretender’.
