Tycho previews UK shows with ‘See (Original Performance Cut)’ video
Watch the San Francisco musician’s visceral ‘Awake’ LP come to life.
This October marks the live return of Tycho, a California musician / designer who puts as much emphasis on progressive visuals as he does spiralling electronics.
With appearances including London Forum, ahead of these October dates, Tycho is streaming a beautiful new video for ‘See’, taken from the 2014 LP ‘Awake’.
Billed as a “performance cut”, ‘See’’s clip - directed by GMunk - more acts as a display of just what happens when the live outfit get to grips on stage, with triangle shapes and glittering projections cast up against their instruments. The visuals themselves are “Kinect-informed”, meaning based entirely on movement, and this video’s so bloody fancy you can watch it on Youtube on the 2160p setting (didn’t realise that even existed, being honest).
