Watch Adele pay tribute to Prince at Minnesota gig

Adele began her US tour in Minnesota on Tuesday (5th July), and paid tribute to the state’s hero Prince in the process.

In the encore break at the show, Prince’s video for ‘The Most Beautiful Girl In The World’ played on stage. When Adele returned, she commented that she considered covering one of the purple one’s tracks, but thought “fuck it, it’s Prince!”.

Looks like it was as much of a potty mouthed set as Adele’s recent Glastonbury headline set. Read some of her best quotes from that night in our report of the set here.
