This past weekend, Alt-J topped an almighty bill at London’s O2 Arena for their biggest ever UK show, with Wolf Alice and Gengahr in support.
Playing to a sold out crowd and showcasing songs from their ‘An Awesome Wave’ and ‘This Is All Yours’ albums, the band also found space for an old favourite.
‘Leon’ was initially penned when Alt-J were called Films. It went under a couple of alternate titles, ‘Daljit Dhaliwal’ and ‘Films’, and this was the first time it’s ever been played live.
Footage has emerged from the 24th January performance - watch below as they hark back to an old, unreleased fan favourite. “I think that went pretty fucking well,” says Gus Unger-Hamilton at the close.
Alt-J played:
Hunger of the Pine
Fitzpleasure
Something Good
