Watch an eight-year-old fan join Foo Fighters on stage in Manchester
Old Trafford show took place last week.
During their Manchester show last week, Foo Fighters invited an 8-year-old fan up on stage to join in on a rendition of ‘Times Like These’.
Taking place at Old Trafford on 27th May, Dave Grohl began the song before spotting the kid on stage. “I just saw this little kid singing our lyrics over there. How old are you? You’re 8 years old and you know Foo Fighters lyrics? I like you.”
Before dedicating the track to the fan, named Frankie, he then invited him on stage with his family. “What’s that? You want him to come onstage? Come on motherfucker. You better bring your dad with you too. Oh yeah, bring your mama. I’m not taking care of you, that’s for goddamn sure,” he said. “Look he’s taken my pick! I went to shake his hand and he tried to take my pick. You must be from Manchester.”
Watch footage of the show below. Foo Fighters’ UK tour continues this month. They play London’s Wembley Stadium (19th-20th June) and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium (23rd), before headlining Glastonbury.
