Watch Arcade Fire And Spike Jonze Composing ‘Her’ Score

and Spike Jonze’s celebrated ‘Her’ score is a perfect match for Joaquin Phoenix’s Siri-ous adventure involving a technological love affair set several years in the future.

Given the landscapes, the tucked-in shirts and the high-waisted trousers that so dominate the environment in the Spike Jonze film, Arcade Fire clearly needed some visual stimuli when it came to composing the score. New behind-the-scenes footage (below) shows them putting together songs while watching single scenes from the movie.

The score is nominated for Best Original Score at the Academy Awards.
