Watch Arcade Fire cover Feist’s ‘I Feel It All’ at Calgary show
Canada band’s long stretch of performing covers continues.
Arcade Fire’s ridiculous run of covering a song on pretty much every night of their world tour shows no sign of stopping. They’ve three double-albums’ worth of material to release once this ‘Relfektor’ tour winds down, by the looks of it, and already DIY’s been ranking the best and worst of these covers (on a scale of 1 to 5 papier mach heads - it had to be done).
Last night in Calgary, the ran continued with a performance of two songs. The first, ‘Working for the Weekend’, is by Calgary’s Loverboy. The second carries a more tenuous link, in that it’s ‘I Feel It All’ by Feist, a musician who once lived in the city. Regardless, Owen Pallett leads on vocals and it sounds nigh-on triumphant.
Catch up with DIY’s round-up of the best and worst Arcade Fire covers from their world tour.
