Watch: Best Coast Unveils “Binaural” Video For ‘Baby I’m Crying’
Snazzy 360 recording captures the full sound of a take from Best Coast’s ‘Fade Away’ EP.
You don’t get this on the beach. Best Coast have unveiled a new live recording video of ‘Baby I’m Crying’, taken from Beth Cosentino and co.’s ‘Fade Away’ EP from last year.
The track’s been given a very different video treatment - the director Ryan Reichenfield captures a full 360 effect using a ‘binaural’ technique, which essentially places a plastic head in the middle of the room, where it’s exposed to a song and captures the sound.
