Without wishing to spoil anything, this is an amazing cover. Somehow, CHVRCHES have taken Arctic Monkeys’ ‘Do I Wanna Know?’ - a cocksure, swaggering beast - and turned it into an uncertain, longing, anxious thing, in the only way they know how.

Bolshy riffs are exchanged for stabbing pads, Alex Turner’s Southern twang being replaced with Lauren Mayberry’s emotion-drenched vocals. Amazing. It really, really works. Probably the best Triple J ‘Like A Version’ in ages.
