Watch Chvrches cover Justin Bieber’s ‘What Do You Mean?’
The band took on the cover in the Live Lounge.
As well as releasing their second album ‘Every Open Eye’ this week, Chvrches have made time to pop into Radio 1’s Live Lounge to offer a take on Justin Bieber single ‘What Do You Mean?’.
Speaking to Clara Amfo, the band said they wanted to take the track “in a different direction”, and it becomes even more of a banger via the band’s now almost trademark synth sounds.
‘Every Open Eye’, the follow-up to 2013’s ‘The Bones Of What You Believe’, is coming out on Friday (25th September), but is streaming online in full right now.
The band are also set to play an intimate London show tonight at the Dome in Tufnell Park, before going huge in November, with a tour that includes a date at Alexandra Palace with Four Tet.
