Watch Chvrches play Paramore, Weezer and No Doubt on Rock Band 4
The Scottish trio took on a few indie disco classics at Germany’s Gamescom.
Over the weekend, Germany’s games industry event Gamescom was treated to a few surprise guests, including none other than Chvrches, who were tasked with previewing the upcoming Rock Band 4 for guests. Luckily for those of us who weren’t invited down to Gamescom, the performance was streamed online too.
To be fair, they didn’t do too badly, taking on Paramore’s ‘Ignorance’, No Doubt’s ‘Just A Girl’ and Weezer’s ‘Buddy Holly’ and swapping instruments along the way with relative success. Lauren probably won’t be first choice to take to the kit should they decide to add a drummer to the band, though.
Check out ‘Just A Girl’ at 11:50, ‘Buddy Holly’ at 17:55 and ‘Ignorance’ at 23:10, via the full stream of the ‘set’ below.
Chvrches’ new album ‘Every Open Eye’ is released on September 25th, and sadly features no Paramore covers.
