Father John Misty covers Nine Inch Nails’ ‘Closer’ Live

King of covers Father John Misty took to the stage in Chicago last night, playing a set that included a version of, in his own words, “my favourite love song”, Nine Inch Nails’ ‘Closer’.

Josh Tillman was pretty animated as he performed under a bath of green strobes and the familiar squelchy synths of the original - you can watch footage below.
