Haim unveil new bop ‘The Steps’
It’s the newest taste of their recently announced new record ‘Women In Music Pt. III’.
Having announced yesterday that their third album ‘Women In Music Pt. III’ is set to land on 24th April, Haim are giving us a lil’ taste of what to expect with brand new bop ‘The Steps’.
Accompanied by a vid shot by longtime collaborator Paul Thomas Anderson, the guitar-led country-tinged banger is bound to get you even more pumped for the forthcoming record.
Speaking on their upcoming album’s title, Danielle explains, “the name came to me in a dream and I woke up laughing so I told my sisters.” “I liked it because we are literally women in music and we always get written about that way,” Alana adds, “so it seemed cool to make it our own and control the narrative. It made me think about some of our experiences more.” “I just thought it was funny,” Este reveals, “plus the initials are WIMP3. Wimp is a hilarious word.”
