Hayley Williams gets nostalgic on new track ‘My Friend’
Her latest song is lifted from her upcoming May debut solo album.
At a time where a lot of us are missing our pals due to self-isolation, Hayley Williams has shared new track ‘My Friend’ and it’s set to make you feel all the feels.
Lifted from her upcoming debut solo album ‘Petals For Armor’, which is set for release on 15th May, the sizzling new song is accompanied by clips of Hayley’s mates, including Paramore bandmates and her “ride or dye” hair and makeup artist Brian J. O’Connor.
The track follows the February release of ‘Petals For Armor I’, an EP comprised of the first five tracks from her debut. “There are a lot of themes covered on the album as a whole and I thought it best to separate some of these themes so that there can be time for everyone to digest some of the songs before we move along to others,” Hayley explains. “It’s a way to include people on the journey in the same way that I experienced it.”
