Watch Interpol bring ‘Anywhere’ to the Glastonbury stage
The band took to the Other Stage on Friday night.
Before Skrillex could take his dubstep spaceship anywhere near the Glastonbury stars, it was the job of returning New York doom-mongers Interpol to bring a different kind of epic to the Other Stage.
It was a mix of old and new from Paul Banks and friends, as they opened with ‘Turn on the Bright Lights” ‘Say Hello to the Angels’ and closed with best-known number ‘Slow Hands’, but also slipped in a couple from forthcoming record, ‘El Pintor’, including this - ‘Anywhere’ - the track which was also filmed live at the band’s recent Brixton Academy date.
New Album ‘El Pintor’ is set for release via PIAS on 8th September.
