Watch Interpol play ‘All The Rage Back Home’ on Letterman
New album ‘El Pintor’ is out this week.
Interpol are ‘All The Rage…’ pretty much everywhere right now, with this week seeing the release of their fifth album ‘El Pintor’.
The New Yorkers kept things local last night with a performance of album opener ‘All The Rage Back Home’ on The Late Show with David Letterman.
Paul Banks led his band through a rendition of the track that won a similarly dapper Letterman’s appreciation. “I’m gonna be in the band! Do you mind? Get used to it,” he shouted at the end.
DIY’s four star review of ‘El Pintor’ praises the band’s undisputed return to form: “Each sure step gently builds into a pronounced swagger, as the New Yorkers once again discover that unshakable confidence and composure in the face of despair.”
