Watch Jack White perform in a church for La Blogothèque session
Watch White play ‘The Same Boy You’ve Always Known’ and ‘Entitlement’.
Following the release of his new solo album ‘Lazaretto’, Jack White took to a special Takeaway Show special for Paris-based session filters La Blogothèque. And he did so in particularly Jack White style.
The former White Stripes frontman played two blues-y highlights from his career in a) a beautiful, gigantic church and b) on top of said church, on a rooftop, without a single fuck given.
Jack performed ‘The Same Boy You’ve Always Known’ and ‘Entitlement’, backed by string players Lillie Mae Rische, Dominic Davis and Fats Kaplin.
‘Lazaretto’ is out now on XL / Third Man Recordings.
This November, Jack White plays the following UK shows:
17 Leeds, Leeds Arena
18 Glasgow, Hydro Arena
19 London, O2 Arena
