Watch Johnny Depp join Ryan Adams on stage at London gig

Shepherd’s Bush Empire show saw them performing a cover of Danzig’s ‘Mother’.

Last night, Ryan Adams headlined London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire, riding on the back of his new self-titled album that came out this week. He was joined by a familiar face - and close friend - in the shape of Johnny Depp.

Depp came on for the set’s encore to play two songs, including a cover of Danzig’s ‘Mother’, where he executed one hell of a guitar solo while wearing a Razorlight-ready cowboy hat.

The actor also contributed guitar to ‘Kim’, a highlight from Adams’ new LP. Footage of the songs can be watched below.

Yesterday Ryan Adams debuted a new video for ‘My Wrecking Ball’.

He also performed a stripped back session for Radio 1’s Zane Lowe in the Maida Vale studios. Catch up with that here.
