Watch Julian Assange Introduce M.I.A At New York Show
Watch the Wikileaks founder speak for 10 minutes ahead of M.I.A’s Terminal 5 show.
Last Friday (1st November), an M.I.A. show at New York Terminal 5 was introduced by Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, speaking via Skype from the Ecuadorian embassy in London.
His ten minute intro seems to last a good while. Assange calls her ‘the most courageous woman’ in music. M.I.A herself has referenced Wikileaks several times, naming her last mixtape ‘Viki Leekx’ and going on about it in her ‘Bring The Noize’ track.
M.I.A’s ‘Matangi’ is out tomorrow, 4th November on Interscope. Stream in full.
