Watch Jungle cover Mark Ronson’s ‘Uptown Funk’ in the Live Lounge

London group covered the monster-single for Radio 1.

Yesterday (10th March) saw Jungle visiting the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to perform a fitting, alternate take on Mark Ronson’s ‘Uptown Funk’.

Dressing up their already funk-oriented routine with more pop motifs, the London collective took on Ronson’s monster of a single, which spent January 2015 at the top of the charts.

Jungle released their self-titled debut album on XL last year. Earlier this week they released a deluxe edition of the LP, whch comes backed by four remixes - Zomby and Special Request VIP’s edits are previously unheard takes. It’s out now on iTunes.

Their last UK headline show on the back of their debut takes place on 3rd June at Brixton Academy, London. Support comes from Tei Shi and Novelist.

They’re also appearing at Secret Garden Party (23rd-26th July) and Bestival 2015 (10th-13th September).
