News Watch Karen O Perform ‘The Moon Song’ At Oscar Nominees Party
Karen’s ‘Her’ soundtracking single is up for The Best Original Song at the Academy Awards.
Rumour has it, if Karen O wins the Best Original Song Oscar for ‘The Moon Song’ (taken from Spike Jonze’s Joaquin Phoenix-starring ‘Her’), she’s going to change her name to Karen Oscar.
Performing at a nominees party in which there was various schmoozing and back-patting (and Ellen Page wearing a Lolawolf cap - what is going on?), the Yeah Yeah Yeahs star performed ‘Maps’ (for the second time ever without her band, so she dedicated the song to them) and ‘The Moon Song’, in an acoustic rendition that spans just over a couple of minutes.
