Mitski stars in a new short film directed and written by Emily Yoshida.
In ‘Sitting’, she plays the role of a “sitter”, whose job it is to sit in with people who take a drug that allows them to “meet God” (presumably so nothing actually goes wrong). As Mitski says in the film itself, “it’s quite hard to describe what I do”. It also features her ‘Puberty 2’ track ‘Thursday Girl’ quite prominently.
Next March and April, Mitski will hit the road with Run The Jewels and Tove Styrke in support of Lorde (!!!), beginning in Milwaukee on 1st March, ending up in Nashville on 15th April.
Last year we caught up with Mitski to talk all about her new album ‘Puberty 2’. Revisit the interview here.
