Watch Perfume Genius make US television debut with ‘Queen’ on Letterman
Mike Hadreas showcased the standout from ‘Too Bright’.
It’s taken three albums to arrive, but Perfume Genius’ television debut was never going to be a subdued affair. As it stands, Mike Hadreas’ performance of ‘Queen’ stands out as one of the most unforgettable in the past few months.
Taken from ‘Too Bright’, ‘Queen’’s bite was replicated bit-by-bit by Hadreas and co., with the Seattle musician in an all-white suit, coupled with bright red lipstick.
This November, Perfume Genius arrives in Europe for a series of shows.
