Watch St. Vincent talk BRITs hopes and breaking guitars on BBC Breakfast
See host Bill Turnbull confuse ‘Digital Witness’ for ‘Digital Wireless’.

Earlier today and ahead of the BRITs (25th February), Annie Clark aka St. Vincent appeared on BBC News’ flagship Breakfast show.
She discussed how she started life as a tour manager, the experience of winning a Grammy, working with David Byrne (“I love him”) and how she just broke a guitar.
The absolute highlight came when Bill Turnbull confused one of her song titles, mistaking ‘Digital Witness’ for ‘Digital Wireless’. “Any fool knows it’s ‘Digital Witness’ not ‘Digital Wireless’,” he quickly corrected. “We’ll sell it to O2 or something,” joked Clark.
Asked about her chances of winning a BRIT (she’s nominated for International Female), she gave a brilliant response: “Oh, that would be so nice of them. I’m up against a couple of upstarts like Beyonce and Taylor Swift. Any of the women in the category are phenomenal.”
