Watch Stanley Donwood create the artwork for Radiohead’s ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’

New footage has emerged of Radiohead collaborator Stanley Donwood creating the art for this year’s ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’.

As with every Radiohead album since ‘The Bends’, Donwood sits in on the band’s studio sessions, painting artwork in a room next door. New footage streaming below shows him painting one of several potential sleeves from a space in Southern France - as the video starts, on the right hand side you can make out blueprints for what would become ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’’s final art. In the background, you can hear Thom Yorke’s vocal on ‘True Love Waits’.

The footage comes courtesy of YouTube account CitizenInsane.

Earlier this year, DIY spoke to Stanley Donwood about his working relationship with Radiohead. At the time, he said the group’s ninth studio album was their best yet.
