Watch: The Flaming Lips Unveil New NSFW Video

The Flaming Lips have been doing all sorts of unexpected things at the moment - like, oh I don’t know, revealing plans to release blood-infused vinyl and announcing they’re going to work on Ke$ha’s latest album, for example - but it’s with their latest offering that they’ve really shaken things up.

‘Girl, You’re So Weird.’ is taken from their forthcoming album ”, and is their featured collaboration with New Fumes. Thus, they’ve now released a video to go alongside it, with a definite NSFW edge.

The Flaming Lips will be releasing their long-awaited new album ‘The Flaming Lips & Heady Fwends’ on Record Store Day, and it’s set to feature all manner of musical guests.

Ranging from Bon Iver to Yoko Ono, Chris Martin to Ke$ha, the project drops on the 21st April.

The Flaming Lips have also recently been confirmed as headliners for this year’s Parklife Weekender, which will also feature the likes of Justice and Dizzee Rascal.

The event takes place on the 9th and 10th June in Platt Fields Park, Manchester.
