Watch The National Performing On The Mindy Project

Brooklyn’s The National were duped into appearing in comedy show The Mindy Project, making a surprise cameo in the FOX TV series.

Matt Berninger and co make a quick acoustic appearance following a sort-of-romantic proposal in the show, where they perform ‘This Is the Last Time’.

‘In interviews, they would ask me what I’d been reading lately and I kept saying ‘The Mindy Project’ because I watch more TV than I read… We became really big fans of the show, so they invited us on,’ Matt said of his fandom for the show.
