Weezer reveal ‘Everything Will Be Alright In The End’ track listing, postpone release
The album is now set for 6th October.
Weezer have revealed the track listing for their forthcoming ninth studio album, ‘Everything Will Be Alright In the End’.
The record was initially slated for a 29th September release, but - as a video the band have shared today states - it’s more likely to 6th October here in the UK, with the States following a day later.
Of the delay, the band have said “Hi everyone - Today we are pumped to share with you the good news that the recording sessions for EWBAITE are finished, and finished on time as planned. However, we’ve unfortunately learned some additional news that’s not so cool - We have to release EWBAITE one week later than planned, on Oct 7. This is a bummer and we really hate to make our fans wait longer. We worked very hard to finish the album on time for you, so we’re really sorry about this and hope you understand.”
The record was produced with long-time collaborator Ric Ocasek in Los Angeles.
The first single, ‘Back to the Shack’ was unveiled last month, and most Weezer Wednesday short video clips have shared titles with (presumably) the tracks they’re showing off.
As the video states, the track listing is:
Ain’t Got Nobody
Back to the Shack
Eulogy For A Rock Band
Lonely Girl
I’ve Had It Up To Here
The British Are Coming
Da Vinci
Go Away
Cleopatra
Foolish Father
The Futurescope Trilogy
a. The Waste Land
b. Anonymous
c. Return to Ithaca
