Wet play ‘You’re The Best’ and ‘Deadwater’ at Lollapalooza
The New York trio are touring in the run-up to their debut album ‘Don’t You,’ due in late 2015.
Wet performed at Chicago’s Lollapalooza festival over the weekend, and there’s now footage online of ‘You’re the Best’ and ‘Deadwater’.
The band released ‘Deadwater’ as a single back in April when they announced their debut album. ‘You’re the Best’ originally appeared on the New York trio’s self-titled EP last year, and it’s set to feature on Wet’s upcoming record ‘Don’t You’. That’s expected out in later 2015 via Columbia.
“I really like it to be casual and loose and intuitive,” the band’s Kelly Sulkow told DIY, talking about the band’s song-writing process. “I think that I write the best songs when I’m just being intuitive and sort of not thinking too much, but I’ve also been trying to balance that out by being critical.” Read the full interview here.
