Win Butler shines in NBA All-Star game
Arcade Fire man comes out on top in celebrity match.
Arcade Fire’s Win Butler impressed with his basketball skills as he starred in the NBA’s annual All-Star Celebrity Game. The event took place last night at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, with Kevin Hart, Chadwick Boseman and Common amongst the other names to appear.
Dominating at power forward and sporting a pair of Red Octobers, kicks designed by Kanye West, Butler racked up 8 points and 12 rebounds as his Western team triumphed by 59 points to 51 in New York. For a fourth consecutive year Kevin Hart was named as the fan-voted MVP, but according to brother Will, who called on Kanye to do something about it, Win’s performance was more than worthy of the award.
