Watch Yeah Yeah Yeahs tease something ‘Fever To Tell’-related with new ‘Phone Jam’ snippet
A countdown points to today (26th September) for an announcement.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs are set to perform their first show in years this November in Texas, and a new teaser posted to Twitter last night (25th September) seems to indicate that a new announcement related to their brilliant debut album ‘Fever To Tell’ is coming.
“Wait…..#FeverToTell Tomorrow” the teaser reads, pointing to an announcement today (26th September), maths fans.
The teaser also features a snippet of new music entitled ‘Phone Jam’, which has also been uploaded to YouTube in its full form, a five-and-a-half minute jam, accompanied with a cassette tape dates June 2002, about nine months before the album’s 2003 release.
A pair of venues across the US have also heavily hinted that the band are set to play the album in full across the country, including the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles and Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre.
‘Fever To Tell’ recently became inducted into the DIY Hall of Fame, where we looked back on its impact in the early ’00s NYC scene.
