O Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeahs re-unite for New York gig
The trio performed Bowie and Lou Reed covers at their first get-together in 16 months.
Over the weekend, Yeah Yeah Yeahs played their first show together in 16 months. Which is exciting.
Karen O, Nick Zinner and Brian Chase performed at an afterparty for the premiere of Shot!: The Psycho-Spiritual Mantra of Rock, a new documentary chronicling renowned music photographer Mick Rock. The film - which is directed by Karen O’s husband Barney Clay - debuted at New York’s Tribeca Film Festival on Friday.
Taking to the Dream Downtown stage alongside Money Mark and TV on the Radio’s Jaleel Bunton, the group covered David Bowie’s ‘Moonage Daydream’ and Lou Reed’s ‘Perfect Day’. Short clips of both can be found below.
