Youth Lagoon confirms new album, ‘Savage Hills Ballroom’
New single ‘The Knower’ is being delivered to record shops worldwide today.
Trevor Powers aka Youth Lagoon has confirmed plans to release his new album, ‘Savage Hills Ballroom’.
The follow-up to 2013’s ‘Wondrous Bughouse’ has been confirmed via the savagehillsballroom.com site, which also displays the cover art (see below). Tracklist and release details will be announced soon.
Today (10th July), Youth Lagoon is delivering his new single, ‘The Knower’, to record shops worldwide. A gold 7” is being distributed to UK stockists including Rough Trade East and Resident Brighton - head here to see a full map of stockists. The new site’s URL was discovered by entering ‘YLSHB.NET’, an address found on one of the 7“‘s labels. Both sides of the 7” carry the message: “Welcome to 1979.”
Anyone picking up a copy of the new single is being asked to upload a pic of the 7”, coupled with a “#THEKNOWER” hashtag.
