ZAND shares new track 'Religion'

Following on from the release of their ‘UGLY POP’ EP late last year, ZAND has returned with a brand new track, ‘Religion’.

The deliciously dark song - which was recorded with EDM producer Shurk, in his South London studio - was also recorded in partnership with Jägermeister Musik.

“‘Religion’ is basically a ridiculous queer track that I wrote about being infatuated with an angel,” ZAND explained to us, when we met them at the studio where final touches were being added to the track. “It’s playing on different religious stereotypes and storylines. It’s silly, it’s genre-bending; it’s got metal elements to it, it’s got hyperpop elements to it, and I do some screams on it.”

The track also lands ahead of ZAND’s appear at this weekend’s ALT+LDN event, which takes place at Clapham Common on Monday 30th August.
