FIDLAR – White On White
FIDLAR have announced their debut album with new song ‘White On White’. Here’s our initial reaction.

It’s an undisputed fact that the best kind of songs are loud songs. For loud, also see fast, brutal and spending their entire three-minute length or thereabouts just-about-successfully teetering on the brink of collapse. And, that’s why we’re so excited about FIDLAR’s debut album. Because just like the blissfully noisy face-punch that was ‘Cheap Beer’, newbie ‘White on White’ is all of these – and then a bit more screaming.
The LA punks have just announced the release of their self-titled debut – it’s set for release on 4th February here in the UK via ever-trusty indie label Wichita – and ‘White On White’ is the second taster of what it’ll have to offer. And, if the remaining twelve tracks are as gloriously unrelenting as the two we’ve heard, it’ll be 2013’s end-of-year lists’ earliest contender.
