The Big Moon bring brightness and sparkly capes to Glastonbury 2016
The band shot for the stars with their set at William’s Green earlier today.
Forget good old fashioned Nurofen – pharmacists are missing a trick by not bottling up The Big Moon’s core essence and flogging it as a hangover cure. Playing William’s Green, the band’s Jules Jackson appears to have spent a few too many late ones in the Healing Fields, as she has quite literally transformed into a wizard.
Majestically shimmering in a snazzy silver cape, The Big Moon shake Glastonbury well and truly awake with ‘Cupid,’ Celia Archer and Soph Nathan urging each other on, and shred-duelling their way around the stage.
A couple of new ‘uns get airings, too, and ‘Formidable’ especially lives up to its name despite Celia’s promise of something “a bit more chilled”. Closing out a faultless set of wide beams and leaping dance routines taken straight from the ‘Nothing Without You’ video, The Big Moon shoot for the stars today.
