Deer Shed expands 2025 programme with new additions to music, comedy, and literary lineups
Benefits, Kathryn Joseph, and Sam Amidon have all joined the Yorkshire festival’s bill, alongside comedian Lucy Beaumont and land access campaign Right to Roam.
Deer Shed Festival has unveiled a whole host of new names set to appear at this year’s late July weekender, including Teeside duo Benefits - whose potent new album, ‘Constant Noise’, landed just last month - Scottish Album of the Year Award-winner Kathryn Joseph, and US alt-folk artist Sam Amidon.
Elsewhere, the Big Top comedy tent is set to play host to Taskmaster’s Lucy Beaumont, while Leeds Trinity University and land access initiative Right To Roam will be putting on a series of interactive events as part of the festival’s literary and socio-political provision.
Topping Deer Shed’s 2025 bill are previously-announced headliners Wunderhorse, Kae Tempest, and The Big Moon; lower down the lineup, there’s a whole bunch of other DIY faves to discover, including Irish garage-punks Sprints, Manchester poet/beatmaker Antony Szmierek, and Nottingham folk-pop quartet Divorce.
Deer Shed Festival will take place from 25th-28th July 2025 at Baldersby Park, North Yorkshire, and tickets are on sale now via the festival’s website. Check out the full lineup - so far! - below.
