Saint Pepsi - Fiona Coyne

Orgies of delay pedals and Stratocasters have taken place all over the sonic park.

If there’s anything experiencing a long-overdue in-vogue stage, it’s funk. Ever since ‘Get Lucky’ exploded onto the scene and broke record sales and eventually eardrums with its gnawingly infectious hooks, orgies of delay pedals and Stratocasters have taken place all over the sonic park. Saint Pepsi - a chilled-out electronic project fronted by Ryan DeRobertis – has morphed the laid-back element of last EP ‘Gin City’ into something far more poppy, fizzing with its bubbly guitar-licks and boasting a bassline bouncier than Tigger on a dib-dab binge.

With ‘Fiona Coyne’ only being a first release for the carbonated deity on Carpark Records, there’s sure to be barrels more of sun-kissed funk-guitar cocktails to slurp through in the near future.

‘Fiona Coyne’/’Fall Harder’ is available for pre-order here.
