Simmer shimmer into life with new ‘Douse’ track
Dog Knights Productions’ new masters of melancholy preview new release on DIY.
Swirling shoegaze upstarts Simmer are premiering a new track ‘Douse’ exclusively on DIY.
Cheshire-based but undeniably transatlantic, the group funnel their shoegaze influence through a more modern take on the 90s’ alternative rock and its associated nonchalance. Early days have seen them share stages with the likes of Moose Blood, Doctrines and current UK pop-punk hopefuls Boston Manor, pointing towards a potentially genre-defying career ahead.
New EP ‘Yellow Streak’ is released on British emo super-label Dog Knights Productions on March 30th – check out ‘Douse’ below the new dates. Pre-order the new EP here.
Simmer play the following UK shows:
FEBRUARY
24 Manchester, Guilty by Association
MARCH
25 London, Tooting Tram & Social
APRIL
01 Manchester, Sound Control
17 Manchester, Manchester Punk Festival
Featuring Yard Act, Death Cab For Cutie, Graham Coxon, Maisie Peters and more.
