Nicolas Jaar shares new EP ‘Nymphs II’
Released via Jaar’s Other People label, ‘Nymphs II’ is his first solo record in four years

Returning from his solo music sabbatical, Nicolas Jaar has unveiled his first record since his 2011 debut ‘Space Is Only Noise’ in the form of a two track EP, ‘Nymphs II’.
Since 2011 Jaar has been far from quiet; he’s started, and consequently ended (though not indefinitely), DARKSIDE, his side project with Dave Harrington, and he’s worked on film scores and remixes. He’s also both closed and opened record labels including his current subscription-based ‘Other People’ label.
Though he’s been busy Jaar has secretly never stopped working on solo material with ‘Nymphs II’ recorded in New York City between 2011 and 2015. The EP - 15 minutes of glitchy, atmospheric building and dissipating of tension - is out tomorrow (May 11th) via Other People.
