IDLES and Heavy Lungs announce new split 7”
Danny Nedelko has returned the favour, and written a song for his ol’ pal Joe.
As we know, IDLES’ new album contains the song ‘Danny Nedelko’ written for (and named after) the singer of fellow Bristol punks Heavy Lungs. Danny has now done the sensible thing and returned the favour!
Heavy Lungs will release ‘Blood Brother - an ode to IDLES frontman Joe Talbot - as part of a new 7” with IDLES. The other side of the record, of course, is ‘Danny Nedelko’.
‘Blood Brother’ is streaming now, and the 7” will be released on Joe’s label Balley Records and Partisan Records on 30th November.
IDLES and Heavy Lungs are set to head out on a sold out UK tour as of next week - listen to ‘Blood Brother’ and view the tour dates below.
