The Avalanches reunite with Jamie xx for summer staple ‘Every Single Weekend’ 

The Avalanches have once again teamed up with Jamie xx, this time for a sun-soaked, self-aware single entitled ‘Every Single Weekend’. 

Having last joined forces with the renowned DJ, producer, and The xx member for 2024’s ‘All You Children’ (lifted from Jamie’s last solo LP ‘In Waves’), the Aussie group are now officially releasing what originally featured as an interlude on that very album.

Built around a playful love of sampling - and with a tongue-in-cheek video that nods to the performance of advertising - ‘Every Single Weekend’ lands as a dancefloor-ready, Jet2-coded number that pairs perfectly with the recent heatwave.
