The pair bring their glorious racket to the John Peel Stage.

Drenge bring the noise to Glastonbury 2014

2014 looks set to be the year of the rock duo. Royal Blood are riding high, Death From Above 1979 are set to make that long-awaited return, and Drenge? Drenge have just levelled Glastonbury to the ground.

Fresh from appearing at this year’s Download Festival, Eoin and Rory have treated the John Peel stage to an unholy noise, right from the opening riffs of ‘Face Like A Skull’: if tents could have doors, they’d be half way to Stonehenge.

‘I Wanna Break You In Half’ threatens to do exactly what it says on the tin, while ‘Bloodsports’; closing cacophony gets even the most hippie-like Glastonbury goers threatening to crowd surf. Metallica reckon they’re the heaviest beast on this year’s line-up? Think again, Hetfield.

Drenge played:

Face Like A Skull
Necromance Is Dead
Gun Crazy
The Snake
I Wanna Break You In Half
Running Wild
Bloodsports
Nothing
Backwaters
Fuckabout
Let’s Pretend
