Fantasy and reality clash in video for new Phoebe Bridgers track ‘Lost Boys’

It’s our first taste of what to expect from her just-announced next album, ‘Lost Weekend’.

Fantasy and reality clash in video for Phoebe Bridgers' new 'Lost Weekend' single 'Lost Boys'

Having this week confirmed plans for her hugely anticipated third album ‘Lost Weekend’, Phoebe Bridgers has now unveiled ‘Lost Boys’ - the LP’s first single, and an intriguing insight into what we can expect from the rest of the record.

Her first new material to be released since 2022 - following ‘Sidelines’ - ‘Lost Boys’ is a quietly euphoric cut that comes co-produced by Bleachers’ Jack Antonoff and Alex G, and features vocals from Phoebe’s boygenius bandmates Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus.

And if that’s enough, the track has also arrived accompanied by an instant-classic music video in which Phoebe is cast as an elfin queen, blurring the boundaries between fantasy and reality as she leads her troupe of knights and knaves around the land. Check it out for yourself here:
