Frank Ocean has surprise-released a brand new track, ‘Memrise’.
Posted on his Tumblr, the two minute, abstract-leaning piece is a haunting, moody first taste of new material, previewing a 2015 LP.
Ocean is set to follow up ‘Channel Orange’ next year. Previously, he’s collaborated with Diplo and members of The Clash. The track was taken from Converse’s Three Artists. One Song series. Earlier this year, Ocean claimed that his new album was almost finished.
He won six Grammys and a BRIT Award for International Male Artist on the back of ‘Channel Orange’.
