27 cases of sexual assault reported at Swedish festival Putte i Parken

The second leg of festival Putte i Parken took place last weekend in Karlstad, Sweden. During the festival, 27 cases of sexual assault were reported to police.

According to Associated Press, seven male perpetrators are being searched for by local police, for offences including groping and “other sexual misconduct.”

Karlstad police officer Eva Hogfeldt says victims were aged between 12 and 20. More details are set to be released following the ongoing investigation.

Bands who played the free festival included Europe and Dolores Haze.
