Ooh
The 1975 promise something “new” in 2017
Matty Healy’s back on the social media tease train.
Here we go again - The 1975 are back on social media, teasing a new release. Sound familiar?
Last night, the band’s outspoken frontman Matty Healy took to Twitter to share a simple message - “New The 1975 - 2017”. Whether that’s new music isn’t clear - could be an all new colour scheme, another switch up to that award-winning stage set-up, or something else entirely. Guesses on a postcard, to the usual address.
It’d be a pretty quick turn-around for new music following their latest album ‘I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It’, which nabbed a Mercury nomination following its release earlier this year. They have been back in the studio, though, if Matty’s Snapchat is to be believed.
The 1975 play a series of huge UK arena shows as the year draws to a close - those are below, along with that cryptic tweet.
