Caroline Polachek has released ‘Door’ ahead of upcoming solo project
The track is almost six minutes long and is complete with abstract visuals.
Get ready to fill your boots with a brand-new pop bop from Caroline Polachek of Chairlift fame.
‘Door’ is the first taste of an upcoming solo project from Caroline set for release later in the year. Coming in at nearly six minutes long, ‘Door’ is a pop journey, complete with acoustic guitar, plenty of synths and a whole lot of bass, not to mention a wordless vocal solo that lasts for a whole minute.
The video, directed by Caroline herself and Matt Copson, navigates itself through many portals and features a lot of abstract psychedelia. Speaking on the track Caroline explains that she feels “totally out of control of most things in the world, but can at least build landscapes for the mind.”
