Watch more performances from SXSW 2021’s British Music Embassy showcase
You can now watch live cuts from PVA, Baby Queen, Do Nothing and Ego Ella May.
You’ll probably know by now but last month, due to ongoing restrictions, the most recent edition of new music festival SXSW was, for the first time ever, held entirely online.
Even though this year’s festival was completely digital, that didn’t stop the British Music Embassy making a triumphant return. Having swapped its real life Austin venue for something a bit closer-to-home, it once again invited loads of brilliant British acts to showcase their music. In short, it hosted performances from 35 British acts - including Squid, PVA, Do Nothing, Ego Ella May, Baby Queen and looooads more - over five days’ worth of shows for SXSW ticket-holders.
And that’s not all: last week, a first handful of live videos were shared for anyone to view from the comfort of their own sofa, and even more have been offered up this week.
As of today, SXSW’s YouTube channel will play host to an even wider selection of live tracks - and what’s even better? There’s still more come.
Fancy checking the live shows out? Of course you do! Check out six of DIY’s personal highlights below, or head to SXSW’s YouTube channel to watch the videos.
