Disclosure & Lorde Confirm BRITs 2014 Performance
17-year-old New Zealander and brothers Lawrence are performing together for the first time.

After yesterday’s flurry of excitement, Disclosure and Lorde have confirmed that they will indeed be performing together at the 2014 BRIT Awards ceremony on 19th February at the O2 in London. The rumours weren’t exactly rumours. The BRITs Twitter posted a picture of Lorde with ‘the face’ (the symbolic signal of intent if ever there was one), leading people to their own conclusions.
Disclosure are a standout name for this year’s BRITs, being nominated for four awards alongside Bastille. Lorde meanwhile is nominated for International Female Solo Artist at the 2014 BRITs.
Elsewhere, in International Group, Haim and Daft Punk are battling it out with Arcade Fire, while one of the more unpredictable categories looks to be Best Male Solo Artist, in which David Bowie (previous winner of the Outstanding Contribution To Music Award), goes up against James Blake, Jake Bugg, John Newman and Tom Odell.
The 2014 ceremony will be broadcast on 19th February on ITV.
